Dr. Kade Farnsworth

Dr. Kade Farnsworth was born and raised in St. George, Utah. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at Dixie State University. From the age of 4, Dr. Farnsworth wanted to be a vet and often practiced on the family and neighborhood pets. He was often found brushing the teeth of their lamb with his sister’s toothbrush or stealing the neighbor’s dog. Dr. Farnsworth has always had a deep love for animals and desire to improve their well-being.

After attending a scouting trip to Red Hills Animal Hospital to watch a feline neuter as a 13-year-old boy, he decided that graduating from veterinarian school was his ultimate goal. During his undergraduate courses at DSU he worked at Red Hills Animal Hospital as a technician. In 2012 Dr. Farnsworth was accepted to Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. His training and experience included working with the racehorses in Temecula, shelters throughout LA and San Bernardino county, dairy cows in Turlock, sheep and pigs in Nebraska, exotics in Anaheim, and small animal practices across four states. Dr. Farnsworth excelled in all areas and each supervising veterinarian he rotated with fought to have him to join them in hospital.

Ultimately Dr. Farnsworth chose to return to his stomping grounds and join the hospital where it all began. Dr. Farnsworth has worked at Red Hills Animal Hospital since 2016. He specializes in small animals and exotics. Dr. Farnsworth works diligently to educate each of his clients in the health of their furry, scaly, feather-covered family members. He has a true passion for veterinary medicine and would never consider it a job. His interests include internal medicine, surgery, endoscopy, and dermatology.
