Dr. Logan Esplin
Dr. Logan Esplin grew up in the close-knit community of Orderville, Utah, where he was surrounded by animals from an early age. During his summers, Dr. Esplin could often be found gathering cattle off the rugged Arizona Strip, working closely with livestock animals in preparation for the Kane County Fair, or trying to catch and tame every feral cat in the vicinity. These hands-on experiences not only deepened his connection to the land but also nurtured a profound love for animals and the outdoors. By the time he reached second grade and first learned the word Veterinarian, he was certain that this was the path he was meant to follow.
Before starting college, Dr. Esplin devoted two years to a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the island nation of Vanuatu. Upon his return, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. He then completed two years of veterinary school at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, followed by two more years at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.
Coming from a big family that has lived in southern Utah for six generations, Dr. Esplin holds a special connection to the St. George area. Although he is related to Dr. Brad Esplin, they are only distant third cousins once removed. Dr. Esplin is thrilled to give back to the community that has shaped him so profoundly.
With a passion for all animals, Dr. Esplin is dedicated to providing top-notch care to the pets of Southern Utah. Whether it’s a routine check-up or a more serious concern, he is committed to ensuring that every animal receives the best possible care. Dr. Esplin looks forward to helping both pets and their owners lead healthy, happy lives.
